Using the Payments feature and the Authorize.net addon and the Authorize sandbox testing mode.
If I enter the 46282 zip code that causes a declined transaction, my Formidable > Payments shows the declined payment and the entry says (Deleted) with a form entry id that no longer exists in Formidable > Entries. I do receive the email.
Is there a way to not delete the entry form for declined payments? I do not see a setting to change this behavior.
As a side effect of deleting the form for declined payments is that the form is now blank to the user so they can't edit and try to pay again and are probably confused by the blank page. The only way to show the form again is to refresh the page.
Thanks!
John
This is not really an answer to your question (hopefully someone will do that), however, I recommend having your payment form be separate from your main form, linked only by a hidden "entry_id" field on the payment form. One of the things you'll avoid is what you're running into.
Thanks for suggesting a workaround. It is not ideal for our use case due to our client ultimately creating these forms.
I will open a support ticket as I don't see how deleting an actively edited form was intentional or desirable.
