Cannot connect Formidable to Zapier

Hi there,

I have been working for several week to try and connect Formidable to Zapier. I provide the URL in the correct format (https://www.mywebsite.com/) and API Key (from Formidable settings) to Zapier and receive the error below:

authentication failed: The app returned "<p>We would like to hear from you.
Please send us a message by filling out the form below and we will get back with you shortly.</p>".

I have verified with the webhost that basic authentication is enabled

I have tried the API test URL provided in the documentation (yoursite.com/frm-api/v1/ping/) and it resolves with Status: verified

Kind of out of ideas. The error above is a strange one and almost seems like it's originating from a Formidable default form or something.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

This typically happens when the provided URL or API key in Zapier's settings doesn't match the Formidable Forms configuration. Double check it all. If everything still looks good you'll have to reach out to FF support.

You'll need to have a license and account at https://formidableforms.com/. Follow the account button and then you'll find support when you've successfully navigated to the correct location, ultimately here: https://formidableforms.com/account/
