Copy, save or re-use a field in another form?

How can a field be saved or copied for use in another form?

I suppose "embed" is a kind of hack for this but I'm surprised some type of re-usable fields feature - i.e. "favorite", "save" or field snippets - is not supported, because it's very common feature across form builders generally i.e. formstack, ninjaforms, wpforms and many others - because it's a very popular feature!

Tips?

If no; FEATURE REQUEST!

You're talking about lookup fields. Formidable has had them for a very long time.

Thanks Victor.
I'm familiar with lookup fields - using one form's field to populate values in another. But that's not what I'm greatly and urgently wishing for. More like this Gravity Forms "Centralized Fields" add-on: https://www.gravityforms.com/add-ons/centralized-fields/
In summary: fields built in any form (or global settings?) to be saved for re-use in any other form. Ideally, with "sync" (saved to trunk) option. Else the instance is not saved to the "master" field, so to speak.
Clearer?
PS. the idea of at least being able to copy/paste values was just a temp hack workaround idea.
