Change an entry in another form

Following <a href="https://formidableforms.com/verify-email-address-wordpresshttps://formidableforms.com/verify-email-address-wordpress</a&gt;, creating a verified mailing list requires:

    1. an initial sign-up form ( A ), that emails the user with a link to a confirmation page

    1. a second form ( B ) that contains the confirmed information

Currently, A and B are separate forms, albeit with the same information (all information in A is displayed in B ).

When a user confirms form B, I want to change a radio button in form A to "confirmed". (The other option is to save form B.)

Note: the user is not logged in, so there is no user_ID. However, form A and B are connected through a pass_key.

I'm guessing the answer is somewhere in <a href="https://formidableforms.com/knowledgebase/formidable-api
https://formidableforms.com/knowledgebase/formidable-api<br />however it goes way above my head.

Your assistance is greatly appreciated!

I suspect there is a much easier way. I just don't know how to implement it.

I would not use the API for this. Rob gave you the correct answer.
