Trying to run an email trigger based on the value of two fields. I have added a delay as these fields are updated after the form has been completed.

Any assistance would be grateful.

Not sure what kind of help you are looking for here. You should be able to trigger the email action based on its settings and conditional logic against the value of the two fields. Here is a link to the KB on conditional logic.

There's not enough information to give you a definitive answer. The complete user scenario would help. At the very least, some clarity of "...these fields are updated after the form has been completed" will help. That being said, I'll answer for two scenarios I can think of:

  1. If you mean the user updates the form in the front-end, then create a notification action, set its "Trigger when" to "Entry Updated", and set its conditional logic to check the values in the two fields.
  2. If you mean that somehow you programmatically update the fields without using the form, then in the code you're updating the data, you can programmatically trigger the notification action. See this tutorial - https://connect.formidableforms.com/user-tutorials/programmatically-triggering-specific-email/

Hi Rob, Thank for your help however Formidable Forms support if you can call it that have advised its an issue on their end where the workflows aren't triggering correctly. Our business is at a point of giving up as 4 weeks in no one has a clue what is going on the support is absolutely shocking. Unless you are chasing they are not interested. If you or Victor have any contacts that I can escalate to I would greatly appreciate this. Or infact provide details of another provider who can provide business support money is not an object when you are losing customers.

We don't have any means of contacting support other than what's available to everyone. We're end users just like you.

@Victor Font, I don't dispute your statement, but it does seem odd that even the professionals in the "Formidable Community" appears to have little influence on FF.
