I'm getting a ton of bad entries where it's saving a faulty phone etc, while older users fill this out.

How do I enable it to ONLY save the phone/email when they press next?

There's some kind of delay timer on phone fields that save the entries, and I can't work out how to do this.

What's the best way to only have it save the entry when they press the next button or increase the save delay timer as my audience is 65+ and the timer is far too short!
