I've been using the PayPal add-on for payments on my forms so far.  I'd like to have other options like Apple Pay and Venmo.  I understand Stripe offers that, and PayPal too.  However I'm not sure how to set this up for PayPal and don't know if this will even work with Formidable's PayPal add-on.  Does anyone have any experience with this that could help me?  Do I need to get Stripe?

Hi JaneIn FF you can enable Stripe, presuming you have a Stripe account that is. Once you have done this and connectred your Stripe account go to the Stripe Dashboard, click on Settings, Click on Payments, then Payment Methods.Click on Create Configuration, give it a name then click Create Configuration and a new window will open with a list of available methods.Turn on Apple Pay then go back to Payment Methods.Once at Payment Methods click on Payment Methods Domains and make sure your web site is linked. If not add it.You can repeat the above for Google Pay, Amazon Pay and other methods. Then in WordPress go to your form, settings, open payment by debit or credit card and at Gateways enable' Link and additional payment methods'.Update your form. Then Apple Pay is enabled on the appropriate platforms. If you have enabled Google Pay that will appear in the check out on the appropriate platforms. As you say you can also add PayPal as a method too.I could not see Venmo as an option on the list of methods in Stripe.Regards

Hi Steve, My question was about if this can be done with PayPal.  I know it can be done with Stripe but don’t have that.  I’ve been told by Formidable support that an upgrade to their PayPal addon is coming in the next few months but they didn’t provide any details. I have read that PayPal has announced the deprecation of Website Payments Standard (WPS), including the "Buy Now" and "Add to Cart" buttons, effective January 2026.

OKI would move away from Paypal. They are expensive.Integrating Stripe is very easy. But your choice....

I don't think PayPal is any more expensive than Stripe.  However I would love to use Stripe.  Unfortunately, it's not my call alone.  I am just the webmaster of my club and am getting push back from the money handlers in the club.
