Hi all
I have spent hours trying to solve this, admittedly with AI as I am incapable of doing it myself.
I have seen this issue of the Geolocation data being passed to an ACF Google Maps field being discussed in 2016, with possible solutions. I have tried everything I have found and everything ChatGPT has attempted and I'm still not able to do it.
My real question is, if Formidable Forms has known about this issue for at least 9 years, why have they not created a built-in solution at their end?
I really do get sick of starting down a road with plugins only to hit problems that should have been solved years ago and where community members are scrabbling around for solutions.
Formidable Forms sold itself to me because it proudly says: "Our form builder can help you build any form imaginable. And with our ACF Forms Add-on, you can effortlessly connect those forms to your Advanced Custom Fields"
"You can map multiple fields to a single page. It’s as simple as clicking a button!"

I appreciate your reply. I wasn't venting at volunteers or staff working at Formidable Forms. I was venting at an issue that has obviously been raised as an issue for nine years or more and my disappointment that a solution has not been put in place by Formidable Forms.
As mentioned, particularly this line: "with our ACF Forms Add-on, you can effortlessly connect those forms to your Advanced Custom Fields".
I'm struggling to understand why that doesn't include from Formidable Forms Geolocation to a Google Map ACF field, again almost 10 years later.
I do think it's OK to complain when I'm a paying customer. I was venting my frustration to fellow customers and Formidable Forms, certainly not to staff and volunteers.
My frustration is with an ACF addon and a Geolocation addon, why is there not a built-in method for the Geolocation field and Google Maps fields to talk to each other?
Many thanks for the link to the developers directory, I will take a look. That said, I don't think in this case it should require a developer, it should be working out the box.
I realise this might not have won me many friends on this forum, but I believe it was important to say.
