A user submittted a form and would like to change some information in it. How can I change the entry back to Draft status in the back-end so he can make changes on the front-end?

You don’t change things back to draft. Once a form is submitted, it’s published. Set up front end editing. https://formidableforms.com/knowledgebase/set-up-front-end-editing/
