I need to move entries from one form to another. How?

Thank you!

It would help to have more context with your question, however, just guessing, you can likely find what you're looking for at the examples here and apply it to your situation. https://formidableforms.com/knowledgebase/frm_after_create_entry/#kb-examples

If the data already exists, you need to export it from the old form and import it. into the new.

Context: I use entries of one form to store parameters for another. I regularly need to copy this other form, which is easy with "Duplicate Form". I also copy the parameter forms. But the copies, unfortunately, will have no entries. I can duplicate the entries of the original form, but apparently there is no easy way to move them to the new form. The best solution would be, if entries could be duplicated together with the duplication of the form. This would also be useful to create backups of forms and their entries. I have the same problem with views: When duplicating a form, views are not duplicated either. Why not? This creates a lot of extra work for me that should not be necessary. Export/import may be a workaround, but it would be much simpler and easier if just everything would duplicate. Thank you! Ralf

Well, that's completely different than what I thought you meant. So Victor's answer is correct. The import/export process is quick and painless, especially if your field names are the same.

My initial question was about where I got stuck initially, the issue has expanded from there. I tried Export/Import, and basically it works, thank you. I think I can use that for the time being. Still I'd prefer a working duplication, not only for my sake, which is not a big issue, but for clients who I would like to enable doing this themselves. They are challenged anyway, and Export/Import makes it yet slightly more challenging for them. I hope you consider it.
But ok for now, thanks again.

An option that always exists is to create custom server-side code to do the duplication for you. If you need help with that and aren't a coder you can look for help here - https://formidable-masterminds.com/developers-directory/

Sorry, I was mistaken. Export/Import is actually not working at all for me. Reason: Import is always into the original form. So if I go into a duplicated form and from there try to import entries that I exported from another form, the imported entries end up in the original form again.Same for complete forms: If I export a form and all its content then import that file, it's just imported over the original. Great for backups, but apparently for nothing else.So I still don't know how to duplicate a form including all content (entries, views, translations)Sure, I can create develop custom server-side code, I have already developed several plugins for FF, but I hoped that what seems such a standard feature for me would be built in. After all, there is already a "Duplicate form" feature, just that it only duplicates a small part. And developing such a plugin is going to take a lot of time that no client is going to pay me for.So I'm still hoping that you know of a way that I have still overlooked. Thank you.

There are a couple of ways to import/export entries into a specific form, so I'll guess you're not doing that. If you use the Formidable Import/Export feature ([your site]/wp-admin/admin.php?page=formidable-import) and export the form and its entries to XML and then reimport it, what you describe will happen unless you manually edit the XML file. If you either choose CSV on that page or go to the form's entries page and export, you'll get just the entries, with absolutely no connection to the form itself. Then you can re-import from the Import/Export are or from the new form's entries page and Bob's your uncle.

Indeed, CSV is the solution for entries. Not for views and translations, though. I found a workaround for these, too. The process: 1. Export complete form 2. Import on different site, rename the form 3. Export from that different site 4. Import on original site 5. Export entries as CSV from original form 6. Import entries to new form 7. Fix code, especially views, to match IDs to new form. I've only done this once, so far. Looking good, but not verified yet.
