So many problems with saving View as PDF

1. CSS from Global Settings doesn't affect anything in the PDF. It appears everything must be hard-coded in the View, but even then, a lot of it is just ignored. Is this correct?

2. Google fonts aren't loading. They work in the View seen in-browser (which it never will be), but not in the PDF at all. Any advice for this?

3. SVG backgrounds aren't loading - I'm using this as a background/border image. Again, works in browser, but not PDF (other images are loading, so it's not about allowing images, etc. - and the svg is via background: url(inline). Again, any help here, or a nod that this does not in fact work, would be appreciated.

4. Element positioning is wrong, with very little to go on in terms of why anything ends up where it does by the time it's a PDF. Not sure what to do or ask about this one.

I'm kind of at a loss over what to do in this situation. Really, not one thing in this process has worked as described.
