How to set max form width?

I'd like to set a max form width, eg 1280px, rather than let the user stretch the form indefinitely. How do I do this, either globally or per form?

Use your browser's inspection tool to find the CSS restricting the size and change it. It may not be form CSS you are seeking, it could be theme CSS you have to change.
