Hey,

I am having trouble with this shortcode:

[frm-stats id=17716 type=count 17716=17717]

I am placing it in my form in a text field.

It should count all the entries which values in field 17716 match 17717

It works if I do it like this, but I prefer if I could just cite the field (17717)

[frm-stats id=17716 type=count 17716="test"]

I have also tried it like this but no luck:

[frm-stats id=17716 type=count 17716="[17717]"]

Would appreciate help.  Thanks!

If the issue persists, the most probable cause lies in the values in field 17717 or your syntax. Referring to the Formidable Knowledgebase documentation, your syntax appears to be correct in your last example. However, since it does not work, have you verified that the values in field 17717 actually match the value in field 17716? How did you confirm this? Did you directly access the database and manually count the results using SQL? Without a deeper dive into your design, it is challenging to pinpoint the exact issue. To begin, could you please provide information about the types of fields in 17716 and 17717?

Thanks for trying to help.

I figured out that this shortcode only works in a view in the Edit Listing Page Content or the details page, but not in a form builder.

<p>This doesn't mean you can't use it. Create your own shortcode to run your calculation.</p>
