Is there a way to change the role of Wordpress users or delete them by importing a CSV file? Right now I change the status of non-renewers in my membership database once a year to 'inactive' and I use that status value to control what members can do.
I'd like to be able to change or delete their user account when I do this. Formidable does not provide much guidance on deleting users in their documentation for user registration.
Thanks Victor for your suggestions. I'm trying to see if I can find a reasonably priced membership plugin that would do what I need or better yet, that I could integrate with Formidable Forms. However I have not found one that integrates with FF, and my needs don't seem to be what most membership plugins provide. Deleting users might not be the best solution in cases where the member returns after a lapse in their membership. I think I'd be fine with changing their role to one that does not have access to members' only pages.
I might be ready for some paid help at this point. I've built a fairly complex membership system that meets all my club's needs with Formidable Forms, and now want to add making members users of WordPress as part of the process. I can see how to do that, but to handle user accounts when memberships expire sounds like it might be above my pay grade.
In the right hands, Formidable can serve as a data engine for just about anything. I use Formidable as the driver for the Formidable Masterminds Developers Directory and control all membership privileges with custom code and Formidable hooks.
Thanks Luis. I did find that one. Guess I should have posted it. Here is another one that would edit user roles, etc. by csv import: https://wpsheeteditor.com/extensions/edit-users-spreadsheet/. It's not free but pretty cheap, especially if you buy the lifetime license
