This is exactly what I do with the Formidable Masterminds Developers Directory registration form. It needs to be done with jQuery. On my form here, https://formidable-masterminds.com/developers-directory-registration/, it works as a toggle. I load the form with the first section open, then all subsequent sections will open and close everything else, leaving one section open at a time.
