I am making a student home rental website, where students and landlords can have accounts. Students can create a 'housing group' by submitting multiple entries to a 'add new housemate' form, which includes lots of application information. The student account sees a view which shows all these entries which is called 'my housemates'.
The landlords can also make an account and add their housing listings. Then, students can easily apply for these listings, simply by pressing apply and allowing the landlords to view their pre-submitted housing group info. The one problem is, I can't figure out a way to make a view (for landlords) that displays groups of entries. In other words, I want a view that shows a simplified version of the 'my housemates' view, but every row is a new housing group. Is this possible? I would really appreciate any tips.
You can nest a view with a view. See this: https://formidableforms.com/knowledgebase/advanced-view-concepts/
Thank you so much!
What makes the "housing group" unique and separates one group from another and keeps them distinct between groups?
My understanding is that each housing group will be created by a different user, so the user ID will keep them distinct.
Long story short... it's doable. I think we would need to see a more detailed project requirements listing to offer input on how to accomplish what is being requested.
