Conditional Sections Expanding, Screen Scrolling Lower than the Form

  • I have a form with 3 sections.
  • As the form is completed, the next section below it opens when all conditional fields are met.
  • The conditionals are logical, meaning section 2 relies only on field from section 1. Section 3, relies only on fields from section 2, etc.
What I am running in to, is that when the user completes "Section 1", "Section 2" opens just fine - but the viewport is much farther down the page than the form and you have to scroll back up to the form in order to complete it. I've used conditional sections quite often and not run into this before.  Has anyone seen this? If so, how did you fix it?

Edit: This is caused by my using the "tab" key on the keyboard. Once I complete the field that is part of the conditional for the next section to open, the tab key is taking me to a different form on the page, shifting the cursor down to that section.
