Just read this article in the Developers Corner over at the epic Formidable Masterminds site. It's a cautionary tale, to be sure, and a thorough post mortem of an illuminating interaction with a naive entrepreneur whose ambition was far greater than their capacity or their commitment.
I have had similar experiences where people have come to me with fever dreams they are either unwilling or unable to fund. What's interesting in the age of low code/no code, is that unscrupulous bad actors are cropping up who want projects detailed for them before they commit. I now consider whether I introduce a fee and clause for creating a blueprint so that bad actors are on notice and also compensate me upfront for my time putting together their roadmap.

Thank you for your kind words Michael!
Welcome. Not gonna lie, I feel bait n switched sometimes. Definitely when I find out the "serial entrepreneur" behaves more like a serial con artist, using my initial work to lend an air of legitimacy to a vaporware "product" designed to sucker unsuspecting users and lure greedy investors.
