Formidable to Zapier JSON Newline

I'm sending data from Wordpress Formidable to Zapier to another Webhook.
 
The problem is when one of the form fields (textarea) has a newline in it it's not being converted to the proper JSON "\n" and is breaking the code.
 
Question. How can I send the form data properly formatted from Formidable to Zapier?

I've never used a Zap before but it seemed like something fun to try. I created a Zap to create a file in my Google Drive. During the process of telling it what fields to put in the file, I set up a text event to convert each newline to backslash-n for the paragraph (textarea) field. It worked as far as I can tell.

Where did you set up a text event? In Zapier?
