I used ultimate member plugin for the user registration forms up untill now, and installed Allow Multiple Accounts plugin to allow my users to have more then 1 account per email adress.
I need that because we share the email box, but require our own account. It works.

Now i want to shift to using FF for registration, but it does not allow it, so i am guessing FF checks it via some default process and the plugin https://nl.wordpress.org/plugins/allow-multiple-accounts/ does not intervene.
 
Can someone perhaps help me to se if there is a work arround?
