I am building a JobBoard.
I have read many documents about this topic, saw multiple videos on youtube and on Formidable web site, I have contacted the tech support, but nothing.
This should not be that difficult, but I have not been able to solve it, since it has to be within Formidable Forms.
I have created the corresponding forms and views, but in the Detail section of a view, I am not able to find a way to place an APPLY BUTTON.
In other words, the job seekers visits a page where he reviews job listings. He/She find one specific job and clicks on it. By clicking on the job detail link, a detail page opens offering the job seeker all necessary detail information about the job in question. HERE, there should be an APPLY BUTTON so that the job seeker can submit an official application form.
Unfortunately, there is no such an option to place the APPLY BUTTON. I am not quite sure if Formidable Forms forgot or omitted to place this button. This Button should close the job search and apply process of a job seeker.
If anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Sergio
Views don't contain buttons natively. The detail view is meant to show the details of a single entry. That being said, you can put any HTML/CSS/JQuery etc in a view, so if you want a button, put it in via HTML.
Hi Rob, thank you for your feedback. Funny wise, Formidable Forms has a series of videos related to "how to build a job board" they use forms, views for a job seeker, but I guess the person doing the presentation videos does not understand the job search/apply for job and application submission. I will try to follow your suggestion to see if I can make it work and obtain the desired results.
Thanks,
Sergio
