I am currently facing an issue where the edit entry link does not load the editable form but instead displays the shortcode [frm-entry-edit id=”144″] as plain text on the page. I have followed the official documentation and various troubleshooting steps, but I still cannot get the form to appear correctly in edit mode.
I would really appreciate it if someone could help me figure out what is going wrong and guide me in the right direction to solve this issue.

In what you pasted, your quotes are wacky. Try just regular quotes or, in this case, no quotes at all. Also, make sure your form is set to be editable by whatever user is looking at it.
