Hello,We are experiencing an issue with our form created using Formidable Forms Pro: email notifications are being sent twice for every form submission, even when the Ajax option is disabled. Here are some details about our setup and the tests we have conducted:
  • We are using Mandrill to send emails.
  • We have checked the settings in the Actions & Notifications section: only one email action is configured.
  • Ajax has been disabled for form submissions, but the issue persists.
  • We tested for plugin conflicts by disabling all other plugins, but the problem remains.
This issue seems to be recent, as everything was working correctly before. We are using the latest versions of WordPress, Formidable Forms Pro, and all related plugins.

Could you please help us identify the cause of this problem and provide a solution?

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Best regards,

Diagnosing email issues can be difficult since we don't know what changed if the problem is recent. Could it be an unknown bug in Formidable? Maybe? But how do we know? The first thing is to test and record the results in an email log. I suggest a plugin like this one: https://wordpress.org/plugins/check-email/. The log will show whether Formidable is sending the email twice or if it's being duplicated somewhere along the route.
