AND does the following:
  1. make user select country first
  2. now you know the country, FORCE the correct phone format
  3. default to USA
so something just like this: you see that form, it does the phone number very good, perfect?!?!?!!? https://www.sellmytimesharenow.com/   how can we with FF do that?

thanks, but it "appears" to do what I need, but not understanding how to make it work 🙁

I don't see a working demo that works. I installed it, I see the country code entries. But for example, how does it formatt/validate if you select US country code and ensure the US formatted number?

I didn't see that part? Am I missing it?

Once you have the country code, you can use the browser's build in internationalization feature yo format the phone number: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/Add-ons/WebExtensions/Internationalization
