How to include commas in numbers?

Hello, I am wondering how to include commas in numbers greater than (or equal to) 1000? I don't necessarily need this to occur in real time as its typed, but that would be ideal. What I am most concerned with is for calculated values to show commas where applicable.

I was unable to get this to work. But maybe it is me. Can you address this with more specific guidance on exactly where to do what?
This is a basic formatting need. I'm surprised it isn't native to the Formidable Forms.
