International phone field translations

Hello,
i cannot find any way to translate the new international phone field. The language .mo is containing the countries’ name translations correctly but the field do not display it, it’s always in english. I have even tried with the locations add-on to no success.

Are you talking about the field label? What are you exactly asking about translating?

When the user click in the new international phone field the countries listing that appears is only in english.
I want to display the correct names of the countries according to the wordpress installation : Switzerland => Suisse or Svizzera when the wordpress is in French or Italian.
