I'm trying to figure out a couple of things that I can't find the answer to.
  1. In a published view, is there a way to allow users to select fields to search (such as via a drop-down menu), rather than having individual search fields for each search
  2. Is there a way to give users the ability to filter results after a search
  3. I'm still not clear on how the system handles searches for phrases or more than one word. Does it at all?
Any assistance or advice you can provide will be greatly appreciated! Thank you,

You can do this with jQuery DataTables. You can see how it works here: https://formidable-masterminds.com/function-list/

If your data is tabular, you can do it with DataTables as noted. If not, your going to need some custom code as to adapt to your needs. The search function works the same as other wordpress search functions except looking in the formidable forms tables.
