Apologies if this comes across as a fundamental question, but searching here and in other places I cannot find any reference to it.
Someone developed a calculation - a ration - he said with a script. I cannot see the script anywhere in the field, nor can see where you'd put one.
The question is, is it possible to put a 'script' for a calculation for example, in a field and where would it go? Again apologies if this is basic, but I cannot find the answer.

Scripts are either inserted in the Before Fields area on the form's Customize HTML page, in a snippets plugin like Code Snippets, or directly in functions.php or a file required by functions.php.

If the code isn't directly within your form settings or something like that, it's probably a loaded script within your theme as a custom js or other file. It may be all on it's own somewhere. Probably best to contact this "someone" and ask.
