We after a Formidable Pro update had a complete site crash. It took months of back and forth and no one could figure out why this happened. But when the Formidable pro plug in was down the upload fields in the forms automatically converted to text blocks. The problem now is once we were able to switch on the Formidable pro plug in the upload blocks and images links are no longer there. So now we are sitting with close to 6000 uploaded photos of clients in our media folder and they cant access it because wen we create new upload blocks their ID's are different.
Hs anyone experienced this issue before? Is there anything we save the situation? We would appreciate any assistance.
This may help. The way it works when a file is uploaded via an upload field in an FF form is as follows:
1. File is uploaded to the server
2. An entry in wp_posts is created
3. The wp_posts entry is saved 8n the Formidable Form upload field.
So, in theory, you could piece it back together.
The files are saved on the server in/wp-content/uploads/formidable

Can you go into a lot more depth regarding "So now we are sitting with close to 6000 uploaded photos of clients in our media folder and they cant access it because wen we create new upload blocks their ID's are different"?
Yes. We are a wellness company. On our members website our clients submit their weekly stats and posture photos via Formidable Forms that included 4 upload fields for the posture photos. We also make the weekly stats and photos available on a different page under each date they uploaded it. There was a formidable pro update, we did it and from that moment when coolant get our WP site back end to work. And only when we switched off formidable pro could we log into the WP backend. Because of this, the upload fields that are only available if you have the Pro plug in enabled got disconnected from all the photos uploaded. The upload fields automatically became text fields. So when we eventually could switch the PRO plugin back on and the site worked, the past uploaded photos no longer pull into the views page because the upload fields no longer exist. So now when we turn on the pro plug in, the images aren't available in our media library but we don't know where they go. And when we switch off the Pro plug in... all the uploaded posture images of all our clients are in the media library. Is there a way to recreate the upload fields with the same 'ID'S' so they pull the photos into views again?
