Incidence form

I am creating an incident form with a lot of lookups in the back end, which associates the incident to a particular unit. Is it possible, and if yes, how, for users to register on the site and then set up part of the form (demographics, etc) which are remembered and then incident events and then submit? In other words, the form knows who the user is and saves their demographics to submit in the form. Many thanks in advance Gerry

If you use the registration add-on, this will work for what you want.

I understand the registration add-on, but how would it know which fields in a populated form to "remember' (in the incident part?

Victor Font replied 2 years ago

That’s completely up to you. Everything in an entry is remembered when the entry is submitted. If you want to display details from one form in another, you set the default values with the other forms details.

Any link on how to do that you could point me to?

Link? I'm not aware of any link that can help you design your process. I suggest you ask a dev to help you design your forms and workflow. To find help, please visit https://formidable-masterminds.com/developers-directory/. You might also be able to use lookup fields. There's a lot to uncover in the Formidable Knowledgebase about lookup fields.

I the LU tables were designed by an expert. So I know they're ok.

I added a user registration and completed the form. I went back in to complete a second, and there were no saved fields. Do I need to change somehting for them to be saved?
