I have a client that wants to sell tickets to an event. We don't need anything special like seating, but they need to be able to say how many tickets they want on the form, and I need to track total sales across multiple forms so we only sell 100 tickets to the event. Can I do that with Formidable Pro? (I already have the plugin & am generally familiar with it, just haven't done this with it before.)
This question gets asked frequently. From what you've expressed, yes, you can do this with Formidable Pro.
awesome, I just wasn't searching the right words apparently. Thanks!
Have you ever done anything like this before, depending on how complex your requirements, you may need some custom PHP code to accomplish your goal. You say you need more than one form to track 100 sales across multiple outlets. I'm not sure why that would be given the fact your going to use Formidable, but if that's a true requirement, this is not out of the box functionality.
More than one entry from the same form. That's the real question - if I can do this without a lot of custom work. It's for a nonprofit and volunteer work - I can do some custom code, but that's out of scope for this situation. If there's not a reasonably straightforward way to do it, I'll have to let them know it's not happening.
Multiple entries is completely different from multiple forms. You are speaking to Formidable’s strength when you speak of multiple entries.
If you happen to have a link handy to an example of how to do it, that would be awesome. I'll continue searching in the meantime - not expecting everything to be spoonfed to me. I appreciate your help.
Search this forum, I remember seeing a question like this not too long ago where @Rob LeVine provided some insight.
