This is my first time here. Hoping i don't regret this, lol!  I'm looking for a FF expert to help finish up a project. I have built a portal to allow people to store their information for resumes. I have a few tasks to complete that FF tech support says is feasible with FF natively. I'd like help getting this done. The first thing I need is a way to have someone apply for a specific job on the portal. The steps I think this needs are:
  1. Create a company manager account (I'd like them to do it rather than me have to do it manually). Is there a way to have 2 registration forms depending on role of the user?
  2. Have the person entering their information indicate which company they are applying for. Thinking of this now, this would just be a dropdown, I guess.
  3. Have the Company Manager be able to login and ONLY see information from those who have applied for their jobs.
  4. At the end of the applicant filling out their information, send an email to the Company that there is someone who has applied for their position.
I think this is pretty easy, to be honest. I just can't quite wrap my head around it. If this works out, there are other tasks that I need completed.

This is a recruiting portal and you want to allow recruiters or hiring mangers form companies see their own applicants?

Certainly doable and doable in many ways I'd expect. Depends on your needs. I'm available to assist and I'm sure many others. Have your pick from https://formidable-masterminds.com/developers-directory/

Hi Michel, Welcome to the community! Everything that you've listed as a requirement is all very achievable with FF and definitely things you can learn to do yourself with a little time and the right documentation. The Formidable Knowledgebase has articles that cover almost everything you've mentioned and it's well worth having a search through to see if you can find the answers you need: https://formidableforms.com/knowledgebase/ That being said, if you do want to hire someone to do this for you then you may also want to have a look at the Developers Directory here: https://formidable-masterminds.com/developers-directory/ To give you a little head start: 1. Yes you can have 2 registration forms OR you can have 1 form and ask the user what type of account they need and then make the form fields (and user role) conditional based on what they select. This article covers everything you need to know about the Registration Add-on and also has a snippet for making the user role conditional: https://formidableforms.com/knowledgebase/user-registration/#kb-set-the-user-role 2. You can do this with a Lookup field. Setting a lookup field to show as a dropdown and populated with the Companies that have listed jobs. https://formidableforms.com/knowledgebase/lookup/ 3. This you can achieve with a filtered view. https://formidableforms.com/knowledgebase/filtering-entries/ 4. Following point number 2, you can also set-up a 2nd lookup field (cascading lookups) that pulls in the email address of the company. https://formidableforms.com/knowledgebase/lookup/#kb-set-up-cascading-fields Hope that helps. Chris

Thank you for the detailed comments.

At this point, we're looking to hire someone to help with this.

To be honest, I suspect they may uncover some things to clean up. Which would lead to one of our future projects, a thorough security review of the site.

I've taken a look at that site before. It looks like I can't post a job there, I have to contact each individually? Is that correct?
