Hello.
The following shortcode allows me to add a link to display an image [x add_link=1 new_tab=1 show_filename=1], but I want to add a custom name to the link that is "Open" and not the file name.
How can I do this?

open meaning you want to name the link instead of showing the url as the link?
that will be difficult especially if your uploading multiple files. Do you just want to make the file name the link instead?

If what I want is to give a name to the link. I want to name the link as "Open" or "View" instead of the uploaded file name.

A screenshot or picture of your goal would help me. I can think of some simple jQuery things to do, but I don't understand your ultimate goal.
