I have been trying to remove the custom themed sidebar from a certain page on my website and have resorted to replacing the existing themed sidebar with a blank custom sidebar. However, the content on the page still acts as if the sidebar was still there. I want the content to display as normal and at full width. What am I doing wrong?

How are you hiding the sidebar? Are you using a theme setting or have you done it manually with CSS?

I'd say, bring the sidebar back and let us know. It will be easier to offer a suggestion that way.
